Drawing on the restaurant’s proximity to the Atlantic, Kieran has included several wild fish on the Gallaghers Seafood Restaurant menu, with dishes such as the Doughmore crab salad, pan fried fillet of trout with samphire and a baked whole black sole. It is also the season for fresh lobster, with the native Doonbeg shellfish featuring twice on the Gallaghers Seafood Restaurant menu: served with choice of garlic or lemon and herb butter, or alongside a 10oz steak for those of the Surf & Turf persuasion.

For seafood classicists, the Gallaghers Seafood Restaurant menu features a hearty chowder, Gigas rock oysters Gallaghers Seafood Restaurantserved with a glass of Guinness and of course steamed Atlantic mussels in a garlic and white wine sauce (for any non-purists, Kieran has also created an Asian-inspired sauce of coconut, chilli and coriander)

The Gallaghers Seafood Restaurant menu isn’t solely dedicated to seafood: dishes featuring other locally sourced produce include a classic grilled rack of lamb with rosemary and redcurrant jus, and the baked St Tola Goats Cheese Parcel with pineapple and chilli preserve in a filo pastry.

Desserts are all made in-house and include a toffee and blueberry crème Brulee and the famous Gallagher’s sticky toffee pudding.
