Limerick City is gearing up for its biggest gaming and Youtuber festival to date, which the arrival of GamerFest 18 this June. GamerFest 18 will be held from June 2 to June 3 at the Limerick Strand Hotel.

GamerFest 18 promises to be an awe-inspiring celebration of gaming and entertainment and pledges to showcase brand new gaming titles and virtual reality technology, along with the latest merchandise and consoles for gamers of all ages and levels of gaming experience.

GamerFest 18 will bring a packed show of live entertainment to the Limerick Strand Hotel in the June Bank Holiday weekend. Along with Youtuber interviews, the festival will include 1v1 gaming challenges as well as Virtual Reality battles, and much more!

As part of the GamerFest Live Stage, visitors will get the chance to get up close and personal with some of their favourite YouTubers, including All Cast Irish Gamers, Antitinkerbell, and Nintendo Impact Gaming.

Central to the GamerFest 18 experience is the amazing cosplay show which will be held at the event. Whether it’s the dedicated community that enter the cosplay competition or the casual enthusiast that just comes along to enjoy themselves, there is something for everyone! Don’t miss the Cosplay Competition taking place on the Live Stage on Sunday with a top prize of €100.00 for the winner.

The Player Zone, where visitors to GamerFest 18 will be given the opportunity to play all the last gaming titles will be at the festival also. These games will include COD, WWII, Far Cry 5 and FIFA 18. There will be many competitions for people of all ages, with massive prizes and giveaways to be won on the day.

Virtual Reality is taking the world by storm, and at GamerFest 18 there will be a Virtual Reality Zone, with visitors in line to experience some of the latest, mind-blowing virtual reality experiences. The Zone will include the F1 Racing Challenge and multiple VR visitor stations run by experts Spraoi VR.

GamerFest is promoted and managed by Front Door Events Ltd. in association with BEM Ireland Ltd, with over twenty years of experience delivering award-winning events across Ireland.
