GETTING AHEAD: A NEW COURSE STARTING IN FEBRUARY

Tait House is a Community development Co-operative focusing on social and economic regeneration. Their remit is to provide training and education opportunities that will pave the way to employment.

“Getting Ahead” is a programme facilitated by Tracy Aspel, founder of The Creative Institute, who attained an Honours Bachelor of Civil Law Degree from UCD before undertaking a Diploma in Business Studies at Smurfit School of Business in 2002. A qualified Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner, Trainer, Life and Business Coach, public speaking expert and comedy improviser of the award-winning Choke Comedy troupe, Tracy’s unique background bridges that elusive gap between creativity and business.

This informal programme lasts for 16 weeks and is available for ages 18 to 60 years. In this course you will be sitting around a table together with the other course participants, and your opinion is what is important. The facilitator is there to ask questions and help you along, but not to judge or tell you what is right or wrong. You will be learning from each other, and your experience will be important to the group in helping other people make changes. Each session lasts 2.5 hours (break included). At the end of the course there will be a celebration night, and certificates will be presented.

If you really enjoy the course, there are opportunities for you to get involved in the programme after the 16 weeks. For those who are happy to leave it at that, there will be a regular group meeting to make sure everyone is moving along with their plans after the course, and the support is still there if you wish to avail of it.

There will be an open evening in Tait House, Southill on Thursday, January 29th at 6.30p.m. Places are limited, so if you plan to come please call or email Claire Gallery 061 415340 OR [email protected]
