Purcell’s designs have been a highlight of the tour, and will also stand out locally as Limerick fans can be proud of the designer’s connection to the city as Girls Aloud members don the dazzling bespoke costumes created by the Limerick native.

Taking to Instagram unable to contain their pride in their work, Bang London wrote, “The Girls are Girling. It’s been an amazing couple of months working with these icons.”

The design company added, “More BTS and pics to come but we simply couldn’t wait anymore cos it’s clearly ‘Something Kinda Ooooh'”

From Limerick’s Garryowen to collaborating with Ivy Park for Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour, Kylie Minogue, and now adding Girls Aloud to the prestigious list of clients, Derek’s career has been nothing short of inspiring to fashion designers in Limerick.
