Families will get to choose their pumpkins at the Patch which is set on the grounds of St. Paul’s Heritage Centre at the bottom of the Knights Walk. Following on from the huge success of last year’s inaugural Glinfest, the Pumpkin Patch and Spooky Walk will be welcoming children and families to the sleepy West Limerick village of Glin on Saturday, October 26, the perfect mix for families who want to get their spook on this Halloween.

There are plenty of sessions to choose from; with organisers saying, “You can get in early from 12 noon or leave it a little later when it’s sure to turn just that bit spookier.

“There’s loads to do with face painting, storytelling, pumpkin carving and the spooky walk. Get dressed up for Halloween and meet your friends and family for a spooky hot chocolate at Glin’s favourite Halloween hangout – The Hatch. It’s going to be Spooktacular!!! Mwah ha ha.”

Last year’s festival was a huge success, and families have given glistening feedback for the events, with one family saying, “I actually couldn’t get over how good it was. We had a super afternoon with the kids. They got to dress up and get in the spirit of Halloween in a really fun way. It was lovely being able to have a cuppa and catch up with friends and grandparents too. I would really recommend it.”

Another commented, “Old style Hallowe’en fun. Good value for money. Would reccommend and would go again.”

“I didn’t know what to expect but it was better than I imagined. Not expensive. We will definitely be back,” said another family.

Tickets are €30 per family of 4 including your children’s pumpkins, entry to the pumpkin patch and the spooky walk. Each additional ticket is €7.50 and also includes a pumpkin. Booking fees apply.
