Glitzi Bitz celebrates 8 years on Cruises Street with Giveaway Competition

Mother and daughter run accessory and clothes business, Glitzi Bitz has just celebrated 8 years in business on Cruises Street, Limerick and to thank the public for their ongoing support are running a giveaway competition.

Owner and daughter of the mother-daughter duo, Sharon is thrilled to still be a part of the retail community in Limerick all these years on.
“Cruises Street is still a great spot to shop in Limerick. New Look is just across the street from us and JD Sports is up from us. We’re in a great position for shoppers. Moving to this part of Limerick was a great decision for our business”, says Sharon.
Glitzi Bitz originally started out as a stall in Williamscourt Mall Shopping Centre before moving to Arthurs Quay and then finally to Cruises Street where it remains today.
In addition to this Glitzi Bitz has 5 other stores nationwide located in Galway, Ennis, Tullamore, Longford and Athlone.
The business which started out as an accessories outlet has recently added clothing to their range of items and extended into an online website at www.glitzibitz.ie
Sharon said, “I’ve always had an interest in clothes as does my mom so making the decision to start buying and selling clothing was a no brainer. It just made sense as the next step for our business to take”.
Considering the impact COVID has had on her business, Sharon admits it may not all be bad as she says, “oddly enough COVID may have been a good thing for us. It gave us the boost to start an online website and push our social media more”.
Glitzi Bitz clothing range includes winter coats, tops, jeans, dresses and even shoes! And Glitzi Bitz is giving one lucky member of the public the chance to win a selection of items.
“We are so grateful for the support we have been given all through the years especially in our Limerick store, we have so many loyal customers. With Christmas approaching and having hit this 8 year landmark, it feels right running a competition to give back”, says Sharon.
