Going for Gold There’s Still time!

“The closing date for the Going for Gold Group category is the 10th August. Southern Advertising is encouraging residents associations and other community groups that look after your own estate or other areas to fill in a Going for Gold application form and make sure your initiative is in with a chance to win.”
Mr Roger Beck of the Parkway Shopping Centre,
“The Garden Competition is simple to enter. Just send a description of your garden (max 1 A4 page) along with up to a maximum of five photos to ‘Going for Gold’, C/o Environment Department, City Hall and you could be in a with a chance to win your share of a €1,000 vouchers for the Parkway Shopping Centre.”

“I am delighted with the buzz around the Going for Gold Campaign. It is week two of the Tidy Towns Category live interviews on the Limerick Today Show and they have generated great interest. I would encourage groups not participating in the Tidy Towns Category to submit an application for Going for Gold, encourage your friends and neighbours to enter the garden competition and nominate a ‘local hero’ for an individual merit award.”
The Closing date for Going for Gold’s, Individual Merit Award, Garden Competition and Groups not participating in Tidy Towns is the Friday 10th August. All you need to do is complete the Going for Gold application form. Download the form from
