Two inspiring ladies who will be guest speakers on the day, are Professor Colette Cowan, and Ms. Anne Merrigan. Prof. Colette Cowan is 27 years in the health service. Colette is an outstanding role model for women everywhere. Not only is she the CEO of University Hospital Group Limerick, but also a mother to two daughters. “What grounds me is that I am here for patients and that is why I love what I do. I have no doubt I am in the right job,” Prof. Cowan said. Consultant General Symptomatic Breast Service Unit, UHL, Anne Merrigan, is another admirable lady. Anne is also a Breast Surgeon at the UHL.

Tickets are only 30 euro and proceeds go towards the Symptomatic Breast Service Unit, at the UHL. The Symptomatic Breast Unit are set to open their forthcoming unit in March in the new Leben Building at the University Hospital Limerick and need to raise funds for much needed medical equipment.

This is a wonderful occasion to celebrate and support a very worthy cause. Both men and women are most welcome at the Greenhills Hotel International Womens Day Luncheon.
