Griffith College Limerick announce up to 50% funding for BA (Hons) in Sustainable Tourism & Practice Management programme ESF+

Griffith College Limerick offers professionals the opportunity to take a step forward in their careers with flexible learning options and announce new BA Hons funding

Griffith College Limerick, celebrating almost 20 years of welcoming students to its Limerick City campus, offer a wide range of programmes, with traditional on-campus learning as well as online. Griffith College Limerick accommodates learners at all stages of their careers.
The BA (Hons) in Sustainable Tourism & Practice Management ESF+ has been awarded a limited number of 50% funded places for a limited number of early applicants.
This is a one-year programme aimed at people working in the industry. No prior third-level education is required for the programme. It offers the opportunity to gain a BA in one year for people with the relevant practical industry experience.
The funding brings the fee from €3,975.00 to €1,987.50 with Next Level Skillnet and MBE Skillnet. Funding has been awarded for this QQI level 8 programme due to a skills shortage in the market, funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union to equip people in the workplace with crucial knowledge to support the tourism sector, one of the largest contributors to the Irish economy.

The new BA (Hons) in Sustainable Tourism & Practice Management includes green management skills training and covers environmental legislation relevant to the sector ensuring that graduates are highly employable or ready for their next promotion. It offers individuals with experience in the sector a valuable opportunity to gain a BA in one year.”
As part of Griffith College, Ireland’s largest private higher-level institution with more than 50 years of history, the Limerick City Centre campus boasts a student-centred approach in a dynamic and diverse learning environment at their city centre location base on the Crescent, O’Connell Avenue.
The College offers programmes from Level 6 to Level 9 on the National Framework of Qualifications, including undergraduate and postgraduate courses designed with strong industry input.
Starting in February 2026, this one-year course is delivered by industry experts & leaders in the Sustainable Tourism sector.
