The events will take place on the corner of Thomas Street and O’ Connell Street beginning with a Coffee Morning in the Bank of Ireland Workbench from 9 am followed by a BBQ on Thomas Street from 12 noon to 3 pm.

Munster Entertainment will present music, karaoke, magic and vocalists including Sandra Considine of Lil-King-Kat, Debbie Gleeson and local Static Vision from 11 until 5 pm. Giggles the Clown, Jack and Disney Characters will be there to deliver fun and frolics throughout the day.

Live 95 will broadcast in the BOI Workbench from 7 am to 7 pm all that day so please come along, enjoy and support three great causes! All funds raised in aid of Live 95’s Helping Limerick Children for CARI Limerick, Cliona’s and the Children’s Grief Centre.

Joe Nash, Station Director of Live 95, had this to say “As you know, through the efforts of Live 95 listeners, over €650,000 has been raised for ill and vulnerable children in Limerick in recent years, which is a superb achievement, by any measure. This was only possible through the unbelievable support of the Limerick public and we hope you will help us once again.”

Live 95 Helping Limerick Children is also reaching out to the business community, schools, clubs, societies, and the general public to come up with fundraising events and ideas that will help them hit their goal of €95,000. This will have a huge impact on the services provided to children and families by the three charities. The people of Limerick City and County have the opportunity to make a difference to sick, grieving and vulnerable children and their families. The plan is to build on the support and the initiative to date with exciting new ideas and events. If you, as an individual or with your family, community or business want to be part of Live 95 Helping Limerick Children during 2019, contact helpinglimerickchildren@live95.ie.
