The Hugh Campbell Hair Group, Limerick are delighted to announce that our 3 Colour and stylist teams qualified for the L’Oreal Colour Trophy finals in Dublin. The L’Oreal Colour Trophy is entering its 51st year as the world’s longest running live hairdressing competition. It celebrates hair, fashion, colour and fashion and gave their teams an opportunity to reveal their creative talents to the nation.
Limerick is no stranger to awards and it certainly holds its own in the world of fashion and beauty. The Hugh Campbell Hair Group is an industry giant in that world and further bolstered its reputation this week with an unpredicted result which saw three of their salons – made it through to the finals of the prestigious L’Oreal Colour Trophy Awards 2017. Celebrating 50 years of fashion, trends and talent, the awards recognise the brightest and best hairdressing professionals in the country.
Celebrations began in the Hugh Campbell Hair Group back in March, with the announcement that three of its salons were selected to go forward to the semi-finals. Melo Yelo, the River Hair Salon and Marbles Hair and Beauty each had a team, consisting of a colour specialist and a stylist, chosen to compete for the 2017 title. Well known for their innovative work and competitive edge, each salon demonstrated on the night that hairdressing really is a labour of love.
While no doubt perfectly manicured, nails will still be chewed in Melo Yelo, the River Hair Salon and Marbles Hair and Beauty, Cruises St as the teams works towards the final on July 3rd, when one salon will be crowned the L’Oreal Colour Trophy Winners of 2017.
