The Hunt Museum Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival 2017 will include over 200 free events and activities across the City and County and will build on the success of the previous years’ Festivals (the first pilot festival being held in 2011). The Festival is organised by the Learning Limerick Steering Group which includes all the main stakeholders involved in promoting Lifelong Learning. The Festival is the culmination of work by various partners, including the Hunt Museum, in promoting learning for all ages throughout the Limerick region through a week of fun and engaging activities and events, which are free and open to all.

The Hunt Museum Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival 2017 will be hosting eight free workshops from Monday the 3rd to Friday the 7th. Members of the museum have planned to organise these activities in link with Limerick history, fashion, nature, and so on. There also will be an interactive session which will enable participants to take photos of the permanent collection. A prize of an android tablet is up for grabs for the best photo posted online.
