Tom Dowling will be the master of ceremonies at a unique table quiz taking place in the Hunt Museum Garden on Sunday 19th July, at 2pm. The fundraising film quiz a unique opportunity to show off your film trivia knowledge at this socially distanced, picnic-style event.

Themed around the reopened ‘Best Costume Goes to…’ exhibition at the Hunt Museum, the quiz will delve into all things movie-related. So if you have been caught up with the Oscars or you are a Netflix serial binger, then this quiz is for you. Not just for movie buffs, but a fun afternoon with lots of prizes to be won. Come with your team of four!

Jill Cousins, Director, The Hunt Museum, said, “Whether you like Arthouse, Hollywood Blockbusters or follow A-List Celebrities on Social Media, then this Quiz is for you. Equally, if you would like an entertaining Sunday afternoon while supporting The Hunt Museums programme of bringing different types of exhibitions to Limerick, we would love you to join us.” 

Best Costume Goes to… explores the relationship between actors, costumes and the growth of the Irish film industry. In all, 35 costumes representing 19 films and TV series are on display, some of which have been Oscar-nominated.

This exhibition gives the opportunity to view costumes from films and TVs such as The Favourite, The Quiet Man, Braveheart, Vikings, and more. Entry to the exhibition is included in your Quiz ticket, please inform reception on your arrival if you wish to go, so they can book you in and manage the numbers in the gallery at any one time. 

Event details:

Sunday, July 19 from 2 pm – 5 pm.

Venue: Hunt Museum Café, The Hunt Museum, Custom House, Rutland Street, Limerick. The paid bar will be open.

Tickets: €50 for a team/table (for 4 people) and it includes free entry to the exhibition from 11 am.
