On Friday 24th April from 10am to 12:30pm, Tait House Enterprise are holding a Motivational Youth Conference called ‘INSPIRE’ at the University Concert Hall, designed to inspire and encourage Transition & 5th Year students to discover what it is they are passionate about by giving them an opportunity to visualize what career paths could be open to them in the future. It is the second year after a hugely successful first year last year. This will be a high-energy, motivational, fun and educational day.

Key individuals from the fields of Business, Media, Sports and the Arts will talk about how their life experiences and background influenced their success. They will stress the importance of education and how to continue its momentum. They will speak about mental health and the need not to become disheartened by any perceived failures. They will show that success is not an overnight phenomena and the importance of support from family, friends and work colleagues.

Guest speakers include Rugby Legend Paul O Connell, Chief Superintendent, David Sheahan, Founder of ILoveLimerick.com, Richard Lynch, Bluechief founder, Shane Mc Carthy and University of Limerick & Pieta House Darkness into Light coordinator, Tony Sheridan.

Another speaker who I am incredibly excited to hear speak is Sinead Burke, the Alternative Miss Ireland who is a primary school teacher, broadcaster, and fashion blogger that has been making serious waves with her blog, www.monniemelange.com. At the height of 3’5” tall, Sinead is a true inspiration and defies all stereotypes.

This inspirational conference is aimed at young adults between the ages of 15 and 20. They will get to hear first-hand accounts of where hard work, motivation and dedication and lead to.

After the conference, students will have an opportunity to pose questions with each of the guest speakers face to face. The day allows educational institutions, businesses and individuals a chance to foster their educational agendas, enabling each student to discover their true potential and to give them the confidence and vision to achieve their dreams.

The aim of this conference is to inspire and motivate the young adults of tomorrow by learning from the adults of today. By nurturing their burgeoning achievements and sharing stories of great success we can create an environment for our young adults where education in all its forms is a worthy goal.

This promises to be an event not to be missed, limited places available, please book now to avoid disappointment.  Call Claire Gallery or Tracy Lynch in Tait House on 061 415340 or email [email protected] or [email protected]

So, that in 20 years time people can look back and remember the events that were making the headlines.
