Head to Thomond Park on Thursday May 28, 2015 (19.45) for the Ireland v Barbarians match, which guarantees to be filled with crunching tackles, explosive tries and sublime skill.

The hotly-anticipated fixture will kick-start the Barbarians’ Summer Tour, which also features a game against England at Twickenham three days later and 2015 marks the 125th anniversary of Barbarian rugby.

IRFU President Louis Magee says: “This promises to be a truly memorable occasion as both the IRFU and Munster welcome the Barbarians back to Ireland again.”

The Barbarians side will be packed full of leading international stars with a number of in-form Munster players likely to make the call up too. Both teams looking to showcase their many talents, with the game promising to be an abundance of fast, high-scoring running rugby.

Barbarian FC President Micky Steele-Bodger said: “We are absolutely delighted to be invited back to Ireland where we have so many friends in the game. Over the years Irish rugby folk have done the Barbarians proud, both as players and administrators.”

Ireland and Barbarians have already went head to head in 2012, with that game ending Barbarians 29- Ireland 28. This second meeting will promise the same exciting rugby that was exchanged by the two teams in the previous meeting. So get your tickets today to see who will come out on top in this battle between Ireland and Barbarians.
