Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Hospice returns this September 24, with Milford calling for supporters to “save the date”

Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Hospice is taking place on Thursday, September 24, and Milford Hospice is one of the hospice providers set to benefit from the 2026 fundraiser.
Following the huge success of the 2025 event, where supporters, volunteers, hosts, and those making donations raised an incredible more than €2.1 million, the fundraiser returns, hoping to be bigger and better than ever.
Following the 2025 success, the Hospice Coffee Morning said, “We are delighted to announce that over €2.1 million was raised nationally in 2025 during our 33rd anniversary campaign. This would not have been possible without you all.”
Ahead of the 2026 coffee morning event, Milford Care Centre has called on the public to gather their friends, family, neighbours or colleagues and to “put the kettle on, and enjoy a coffee while supporting your local hospice services”.
They added, “Can’t make it on 24th September? No problem! Pick a date that suits you and host your own Coffee Morning throughout September. Every cup makes a difference.”
Hospice Coffee Morning ambassador, Limerick Hurling Manager, John Kiely, said, “Milford provides an essential and much-needed service to the people of the Mid West and holds a special place in the hearts and minds of Limerick hurlers and indeed everyone associated with Limerick GAA. We can all play our part by showing our support by hosting or contributing to Milford Hospice’s Coffee Morning this year.”
