Irish Aerial Creation Centre Summer Camps are suitable for kids from the age of four to 17 years. Children aged between four and seven will attend between the hours of 9.30am and 12.00pm, while those aged between eight and 17 will be in class from 9.30am to 3.00pm.

Suitable for beginner, intermediate and advanced skill levels, children do not need to have any aerial dance experience to enjoy the summer camps. The aerial classes will teach a whole variety of skills including silks, trapeze, hoop and vertical dance.

If you are just starting out, the emphasis is on developing strength and solid basics. At an intermediate level, children that have some dance or aerial background will learn more dynamic moves and sequencing skills. For the skilled and dance-obsessed, classes will improve your technique and help you find your own creative voice in the air. You’re now ready to start linking sequences and push yourself even more.

Establishing the Irish Aerial Creation Centre (IACC) was always a dream of Fidget Feet Executive Artistic Director, Chantal McCormick. Chantal, from Donegal, started Fidget Feet with musician/media artist Jym Daly from Cork in 2004. The company has since become one of the leading aerial dance theatre companies in Ireland, making work at home and touring nationally and internationally.

The Irish Aerial Creation Centre, located at Gillogue Office Park, Corbally, is the first and only purpose-built aerial dance centre in Ireland. They have over 625 square meters of space dedicated to nurturing dancers young and old.

“My daughter attends the summer camps every year and she absolutely loves them. It is a great confidence builder for her and she learns so many great new skills,” said one Limerick mother who sent her daughter to the aerial camps.
