Glen Anderson, ICTC Managing Director said, “The qualification enables graduates to progress and apply for successful careers within the aviation industry and is recognised by both European and International airlines.

“This qualification is designed for a range of learners and is open entry and does not require a Leaving Certificate. It is an ideal course for someone wishing to change their career or start out as a school leaver. This is an OFQUAL-regulated qualification recognised internationally.”

In addition, it enables participants to develop their understanding of the cabin crew role and the work involved, including coordinating a safe flight, preparing the cabin, getting passengers aboard and performing safety procedures as well as how to deal with emergencies. The course also includes a visit to the Shannon Aviation Museum, where students explore different aircraft types and experience a flight simulator session.

Speaking with I Love Limerick, Mr Anderson added, “ It’s a hugely popular course, with a 90 percent employment rate, where learners work with European and international-based airlines. We have an incredible team. We have state-of-the-art facilities. The program itself gives opportunities to travel to see the world.”

Graduate Molly described the programme as a “once in a lifetime opportunity” and said it gave her a step up in her career. She has been flying with EasyJet, based at London Gatwick, for the past two years.

The course is delivered a number of times throughout the year due to its popularity, on Saturdays so as not to impact participants’ weekday work, school or college commitments.

The upcoming course commences March 7, 2026, with limited course places available.
