As with many other people across Ireland and the world at large, The Ivory Closet has been deeply affected by the devastation in Australia as it’s beautiful country and wildlife are swallowed up by flames.

The Ivory Closet said, “We are absolutely heartbroken watching the devastating fires unfold across Australia, the substantial loss to the country and the flames’ impact on both humans and wildlife”.

There have been millions of acres scorched, several lives lost, and thousands of homes destroyed. An estimated 1.25 billion animals are thought to have been killed by the fire, at least 28 people’s lives have been lost, an area larger than the size of Ireland at 26.4 million acres of land has been set ablaze, more than 2,000 homes destroyed and fire season isn’t even over yet, it typically ends in February.

The Ivory Closet, a designer dress rental store in Limerick, decided it was time to do something to help this cause and so they came up with the idea of running a competition to win a years worth of free rental dresses and all you have to do to enter is donate to their Go Fund Me for the Australian Red Cross humanitarian aid and community services charity.

The winner will be entitled to 2 free dress hires per month for an entire year, totaling the value of this prize at an astounding €4,000!

And, as the girls at Ivory Closet said, “Don’t worry if you haven’t two events each month you can kindly gift one of your hires to a friend!”.

All you have to do is supply the proof of donation upon winning the prize.

To be in with a chance of winning, all you have to do is head over to the Go Fund Me link right here and donate. Then head over to The Ivory Closets Instagram page and comment under the post.

The Ivory Closet said, “We are asking you to donate as little as your morning coffee. Your generosity will greatly help benefit those affected so please dig deep”.
