John Fitzgerald the Managing Director of Harmonics Group, will discuss the changing world of work and how people are being impacted at the first event for Network Ireland Limerick in 2018 which takes place in Savoy Hotel, Limerick on Wednesday January 17.

Against a backdrop of a rapidly changing world of work, John will explain the impact the fourth industrial revolution will have on industries, businesses and particular professions.  He will also discuss the 100 year life and how we are all living longer and why women are best placed to thrive in the Future of Work. Finally, as a serial entrepreneur, John will share his tips from his own personal life, career and business journey.

John Fitzgerald is a regular commentator on the future of work and has delivered a number of talks about the phenomenal pace of change impacting the world of work and how organisations and their employees are struggling to address or keep up with the pace of change.

John established the Harmonics Group in 2006 and is its Managing Director. Harmonics is a specialist career management consulting firm that helps organisations and their people to transform and adapt to changing business needs.

He has specialist expertise in the Future of Work, Executive Coaching and Career Redirection. John is an author on career development and has featured as “The Career Coach” in a RTE documentary series.

Under the Harmonics Group umbrella, John also established Harmonics Financial and Harmonics Recruitment.

Network Ireland Limerick provides a forum where women in business, the professions and the Arts can exchange business ideas and increase their business contacts. It encourages women to achieve more satisfying careers and promotes women as worthy contributors to the Irish economy. Network Ireland Limerick is a branch of Network Ireland, a national organisation driving the personal and professional development of women with over 800 members and 12 branches through the country.

Network Ireland Limerick holds monthly networking meetings where a guest speaker is invited to educate, inform and entertain on topics of interest to women. Members can develop and pool their individual skills through interaction with other women in a supportive environment which offers, training, mentoring and an opportunity for women who call on other members with specialist expertise for help. It also provides a forum for established women to develop professional and social contacts.

The event is on at the Savoy Hotel on January 17 with the talk kicking off at 6:30 pm. The event is free for Network Ireland members and €20 for non-members.
