They wanted to get non-dancers interested in dance to provide a platform for new and emerging artists. They are hoping to make ballet a more accessible art form and are offering two brand new dance and fitness classes – Ballet: Power and Fitness and Complete Beginner’s Ballet for Adults.

For them, ballet has been a huge part of their lives since they were children. And they are very passionate about it.

“It’s never too late to try out something new and really different to the other forms of exercise on offer in the city and we will teach you exercises and dances that professional ballerinas do each day in their training to get you moving with grace and poise that will spill over into your everyday lives. There’s a reason so many professional sports stars take ballet classes. Even actor Ryan Gosling is a big fan!” Mags tells me with a smile.

Its great to have a dance culture alive in our city you just may meet me there giving it a go! Classes take place at Studio 21, 84 O’Connell St.
