Karl Spain comes to Dolans Warehouse on February 24th, with the Limerick comedian bringing his “Well, What Did You Expect?” to the venue’s stage as part of his Irish Tour.

Karl Spain has long been established as one of Ireland’s most popular comedians, from his own tours and touring with others, and has appeared at festivals all over the world. Karl has worked with some of the world’s greatest comedians and made appearances in tv shows such as Killinaskully and Bridget & Eamon. 

Karl has spent most of 2022 touring with Kevin Bridges “because Kevin finds him very funny – or because Kevin uses Karl to remind him to keep the weight off. Hopefully the former”.

The Limerick comedian has written for many comedians over the past decade, meaning many people have been laughing at his jokes even without realising it, but punters are assured: “he has kept all the best jokes for himself”.

In his new show ‘Well, What Did You Expect?’ Karl talks about how we are where we are and how to solve all the world’s problems, “catch it in a venue near you, or the Taliban win”. 

The Limerick comedian previously hosted the Comedy KARLnival at 1314 Thirteen Fourteen @ Jerry Flannery’s Bar, as well as online, where he had guests such as Emma Doran, Ardal O’Hanlan, and Jason Byrne.

Karl Spain’s “What Do you Expect” runs in Feb & March 2023 as part of the Limerick Comedian’s Irish tour, with tickets available now from Ticketmaster and online from local venues, with his Limerick appearance in Dolan’s Warehouse this February 24, 2023.
