Róisín Dubh Comedy & Off The Kerb Productions presents Comedy KARLnival Online with Karl Spain & friends featuring Russell Kane (Live at the Apollo / Celebrity Juice / Live at the Electric), Paul McCaffrey (BBC3’s Impractical Jokers / Russell Howard’s Good News), and Josh Jones (Channel 4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats / BBC New Comedy Award Finalist) this Friday, February 19.

Russell Kane
Multi-award-winning comedian, presenter, actor, author and scriptwriter Russell Kane is best known for the BBC Sounds podcast, Evil Genius which has become a flagship show and was the best performing original podcast on the platform. Russell’s other podcast Boy’s Don’t Cry also features regularly on the iTunes top charts for listening to podcasts and will return with a new series later this year.

Recent TV appearances include The Apprentice You’re Fired, The One Show, Antiques Roadtrip, Stupid Man, SmartPhone, and the host of three series of Live At The Electric. Other TV appearances include Live At The Apollo, Unzipped, Celebrity Juice, and I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here Now.

Paul McCaffrey has recently completed two sell-out tours of the UK with Sean Lock on his Keep It Light tour and more recently Kevin Bridges on his record-breaking The Brand New Tour in 2018.

Star of BBC Three’s Impractical Jokers and Russell Howard’s Good News, Comedy Central’s Stand Up Central, Channel 4’s 50 Funniest, and CBBC’s The Dog Ate My Homework. In 2019 Paul also made his debut on BBC flagship stand-up show Live At The Apollo.

An accomplished radio presenter and guest, Paul has recently been heard on: talkSPORT, Absolute’s The Alternative Vote, and Rob Beckett’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Football, and Russell Kane’s Whistle-Stop Tour on BBC Radio 2. He also presents The Paul McCaffery Show every Saturday morning on Jack FM.

Josh Jones
Born and bred in Manchester, Josh Jones is fast becoming one of the best young acts on the circuit. In just three short years Josh has gone from an open spot to making his TV debut in 2020 and headlining at the biggest comedy clubs in the country including the renowned Glee Club.

 2019 saw Josh nominated for the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year, named as one of Chortle’s Ones to Watch. He was also selected for the prestigious The Pleasance Comedy Reserve at the Edinburgh Fringe and was a BBC New Comedy Award Finalist. 2020 saw Josh make his TV stand-up debut on ITV’s Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club. Josh made his debut appearance as a panelist on E4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats in December 2020 and appeared on Ch5’s Goes Horribly Wrong series.
