Treaty United congratulate Katie Lawlee on being named the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division Player of the Month for June.

The award is further recognition of an outstanding season to date for the Treaty United captain, whose consistent performances, leadership and influence have made her one of the standout players in the Women’s Premier Division.

Lawlee played a pivotal role for Laurie Ryan’s side during June as Treaty United remained unbeaten in league action. She was instrumental in the 3-0 victory away to DLR Waves, delivering the corner that led to the opening goal – before producing another commanding performance in midfield. She followed that with another influential display against Sligo Rovers at Markets Field, scoring Treaty’s equaliser in a 1-1 draw.

Lawlee has represented the Republic of Ireland at U19 level and has captained the side on multiple occasions. In 2026, she was named as captain of the Treaty United senior women’s team.

Women’s Team Manager Laurie Ryan recognised Lawlee for her performances this season “Everyone at the club is absolutely delighted for Katie. This award is thoroughly deserved and is recognition of the high standards she has maintained throughout the season. She leads by example every single day.

“Her work ethic, quality on the ball and desire to improve those around her make her an exceptional captain, while her performances on the pitch continue to show why she is regarded as one of the best players in the league”

Lawlee’s award continues a memorable awards season to date for Treaty United, with Madison McGuane having also been recognised in April as the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division Player of the Month. Having two Treaty United players receive the league’s monthly honour is a fitting reflection of the progress the club continues to make in the Women’s Premier Division.

Treaty United congratulates Lawlee and wishes her every success for the remainder of the season.
