Excitement swept through Kildimo as the Limerick town’s Mace was revealed as seller of a more than €5.5 million Lotto Jackpot ticket
A wave of excitement has swept through Kildimo, Co. Limerick, as Mace has been revealed as the store that sold Wednesday’s (25th September) winning Lotto Jackpot ticket worth an incredible €5,501,086.
This win makes the Limerick player the 26th National Lottery millionaire of 2024!
Store owner Carol Mulcair expressed her joy after receiving the news that her shop sold the winning ticket, “What a lovely phone call to get! I’m absolutely delighted. We’ve had a couple of small wins over the years but nothing of this size! It’s great for the area and will definitely create a buzz around the place.
“The staff are thrilled too. We’re a very rural, local shop with the same people coming in every day, so I hope it’s one of them. Whoever it is, we’re absolutely delighted for them!”
The Limerick winner becomes the 7th Lotto Jackpot winner of 2024, joining the ranks of six other big winners from across the country, including Dublin (4), Louth, and another Limerick victor earlier this year.
This latest win also makes the Limerick player the 26th National Lottery millionaire of 2024.
The National Lottery has also confirmed that the Limerick winner has made contact, and arrangements are being made for them to collect their prize.
