The campus, part of Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board’s multi-campus College of Further Education and Training, hosts a variety of Level 5 and 6 programmes including Art, Craft and Design, Construction and Engineering, Applied Science and ICT.

The Kilmallock Road Campus Open Day will see teachers and graduates provide an overview of programmes, as well as career or educational prospects available to learners upon graduation.

The jam-packed day of events, taking place from 9.30am to 1pm, will include an art exhibition, science demonstrations and a coffee morning complete with music and refreshments.

The campus is one of 300 ETB locations across the Limerick and Clare region which offer both full and part-time education and training opportunities, including apprenticeships, back-to-education initiatives, and core skills classes.

The annual Kilmallock Road Campus Open Day will take place during the 2022 Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival, which encourages people to develop new skills and grow or alter their career paths.

Vocational training in areas such as retail sales and office administration is also available for those who are looking to progress in the workplace. A range of supports such as counselling services and financial and family assistance give learners of all backgrounds and situations a chance to further themselves.

The Kilmallock Road Campus takes pride in offering programmes to suit the needs of all. It offers Leaving Cert and Leaving Cert Applied programmes for early school leavers, as well as an English for Employment course aimed at non-native English speakers.

A Multicultural Day will also take place at the campus on Thursday, May 26. The day-long celebration will recognise the diversity present on campus and encourage those of all backgrounds to further their education and professional growth.
