Sharon Bromell’s Kingdom premieres at Belltable on April 14 and 15
Kingdom by Sharon Bromell is set to premiere at Belltable this April following the success of the 2025 production ‘The 27 Club’

Kingdom, an original story written by Sharon Bromell, is set to premiere at Belltable theatre on April 14 and 15, following the success of her play last March, The 27 Club.
Mel King and her husband Matty, are a powerful Dublin crime family looking to expand their business across the Atlantic. Their son Zac who no longer wants to be a part of the business relocates to the States to carve out a new life. In New York a beautiful Broadway dancer named Jessie is searching for stardom, but at what expense. When their two worlds collide, they are stronger connected than everyone realises. Both escaping their pasts but slowly beginning to fall back into a criminal world they were trying to avoid.
Kingdom embraces a cast of thirteen actors and eight behind the scenes volunteers from Killer Productions drama group which was founded by Sharon, combining the talents of many community drama groups across Limerick
“The talent that Limerick has to offer is outstanding and I am excited about showcasing this to the audience,” said Writer Sharon Bromell.
Sharon who began writing and producing following her participation in the script writing classes led by Karen Fitzgibbon, local author and tutor at Creative Studios and supported by The Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board.
Sharon, with a background in media, theatre and event management is also producing and directing the show and hoping for another sell-out performance. She promises an exciting storyline alongside music and dance to entertain and light up the stage.

The writer is chairperson and founding member of Killer Productions drama group, and will continue to write plays annually. She has also received a residency scholarship at The Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Monaghan where she can continue to work on her first novel that she hopes to have published in the future.
She recently received a gold Presidents Volunteer Award from The University of Limerick for her work on The 27 Club play that she wrote and produced and was staged over two nights at Belltable theatre, Limerick, to a sold out audience. She is also looking forward to completing her diploma in Community Wellness in The University of Limerick in May and commencing the Masters in creative writing at the University in September.
