Ladies day at Limerick Racecourse will take place this year on Sunday, October 12, 2014. Recognised as one of the top ladies day events in Ireland, it is a day not to miss with lots of style, fashion and glamour on display. Keanes Jewellers will return as title sponsor of the Ladies Day competition and the lucky winner will receive a diamond ring to the value of €4,000. Second prize is a Shopping voucher to enjoy in the picturesque village of Adare, Co. Limerick. The ten finalists will each receive a goody bag with lots of lovely treats to enjoy.

Celebrity judges on the day are local Limerick ladies Leanne Moore and Madeline Mulqueen. Journalist, singer and presenter Leanne regularly appears on TV3 entertainment/celebrity programme Xposé with a round-up of news and gossip. Madeline is one of Ireland’s most in demand models, and is a recognised face in the world of fashion.

Ladies Day at Limerick Racecourse is a chance to showcase the latest fashions, enjoy a day out with friends, fine dining and entertainment. The Afternoon Tea package is a new concept for the panoramic restaurant this year where guests will enjoy a Prosecco reception on arrival. Tantalise your taste buds with pastries, gorgeous homemade scones with preserves, delicious selection of freshly cut sandwiches and sweet bites; all gracing a three tier tea stand and accompanied with tea/coffee served in gorgeous vintage style cups. The package includes admission, race card, afternoon tea, reserved seating, waiter service, tote betting facility all for €39 per person. There is also a 3 course lunch option with tea/coffee in the panoramic restaurant for €59 per person. The Greenmount restaurant will also host a fashion show showcasing the latest fashions from outlets in Adare village.

The first race of the day kicks off at 2:30pm to include the feature race, the Ladbrokes Munster National. A complimentary return bus service from Limerick city centre shall depart from the Augustinian Church O’Connell Street at 1.30pm. General admission tickets are €15 per person with discounted admission of €10 per person for Students/OAPs. Children under 16 years are free with lots of children’s entertainment.
