Limerick College of Further Education (LCFE) held its annual Open Day on Tuesday February 3 from 10am to 6pm. The highly successful event attracted large numbers of people interested in learning more about the college’s programmes and facilities. Teaching staff were on hand to provide all the information required to prospective learners, parents and guidance counsellors. Students were also there to talk about the programme they’re studying to those interested. Details were also available on maintenance grants, as well as social welfare information.
The Open Day featured an exciting Visual Arts Exhibition (from the Art and Design, Fashion, and Photography programmes). Produced by LCFE learners and staged by academic staff, the high-quality exhibition was enjoyed by all visitors.
LCFE Online Radio station, iMIX, which was launched on Monday, entertained visitors attending the Open Day with live music performances and radio shows. As in previous years, there was also a series of short Information Sessions introducing prospective learners to the College and the online application process.
Limerick College of Further Education is now accepting applications for its more than 50 full-time Day Programmes in the 2015/16 academic year. You can apply online through the college website here.
