Leanne Moore Says ‘I do’ to Fitness Instructor David Behan in Marbella
Limerick journalist, turned You’re a Star winner, turned fitness guru/blogger and successful businesswoman, Leanne Moore recently tied the knot to Fitness Instructor, David Behan on Sunday, July 7 in beautiful Marbella.

After many years in the entertainment industry, Leanne was encouraged by now husband, David to pursue a career in what she loved the most, fitness. Leanne told ilovelimerick back in 2017, “He was the person to say, ‘you can make this a career, why would you not make what you really love doing your career.’ It never clicked in my head before and long story short I went and trained as a personal trainer and here years down the line, I’m still doing it and I love it,” Back in December 2017, Leanne and David opened Go Gym Limerick on Coonagh Road. Leanne admitted they put a hold on everything, including the wedding, to put everything into the opening of a now very successful gym.
Less than 2 years later, the pair are finally getting the wedding of their dreams. The picturesque ceremony took place in the mountain town of Ojén behind Marbella. Leanne looked stunning in an A-line Anna Georgina dress with gorgeous lace detailing and white flowing skirt from Limerick’s bridal boutique, The Attic. Leanne’s four bridesmaids looked elegant wearing soft beige dresses. Leanne’s sister, Katie Moore was Maid of Honour and ilovelimerick’s Richard Lynch took on the role of ‘bridesman’.
Many Irish influencers were in attendance to celebrate the power couple including Siobhan O’Hagan from OhFitness.ie and Limerick’s very own Celia Holman Lee and Sinead O’Brien from Sinead’s Curvy Styles. Celebrity makeup artist, Michelle Regazzoli from Mrs Makeup also attended and created the glowing bridal look for Leanne on her big day. Award-winning Limerick photographer, Dermot Culhane was also in Marbella to capture all of the special moments from the weekend.
Music has always been a big part of Leanne’s life. Her mother, Chris Moore was a musician and sadly died from cancer in 1993. The day she died, her single, ‘Life Without You’, went to No 1 in the Irish charts. More than 10 years later, Leanne’s very own single, ‘On Wings’ went to No 1 in 2008, which marked the first time that a mother and daughter’s singles have both gone to No 1 in the Irish charts. Sinead O’Brien sang ‘Life Without You’ as Leanne walked down the aisle.
