“Legends in the Shadows” offers an evening of age-appropriate frights with a wonderfully eerie atmosphere at the International Rugby Experience (IRE).

On bank holiday Monday, 28th October, “Legends in the Shadows” is coming to the 6th floor of the International Rugby Experience (IRE), offering a thrilling evening of spooky storytelling that will send shivers down your spine. Set against the stunning backdrop of Limerick city, this unique event blends local legends with eerie tales as the gallery’s panoramic view casts shadows over the city below.

The IRE storyteller will weave stories from the history, myths, and mysterious characters of Limerick, adding a supernatural twist to the city’s well-known landmarks and folklore. From haunted streets to ghostly encounters, you will see Limerick in a whole new light!

Perfect for families looking for a fun and unique way to celebrate Halloween, “Legends in the Shadows” offers an evening of age-appropriate frights with a wonderfully eerie atmosphere.

The IRE, initially funded through a €30 million investment by the JP McManus Charitable Foundation, is a fully immersive, hands on, multi-sensory experience designed to engage and inspire families and individuals alike. Inspired by World Rugby’s values of Passion, Discipline, Integrity, Solidarity and Respect, visitors hear the stories, feel the passion and test their own skills as they move through six, awe-inspiring stages inside the ‘Home of Legends’.
