At the age of 28, Limerick lady, Lette Moloney who is a photographer and graphic designer was diagnosed with Dysautonomia (or autonomic dysfunction), which is any disease or malfunction of the autonomic nervous system. Specifically Lette suffers from Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Neurocardiogenic syncope with Respiratory Arrest (serious fainting without breathing) and in the past 3 years she was also diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS), and a Seizure Disorder.

A benefit quiz night will be held at Dolans Pub Limerick on July 24, at 8pm. Limerick people are invited to come out to test their knowledge in the quiz, and maybe even try their luck in the raffle as well. All proceeds of the night, which will be hosted by Richard Lynch of www.ILoveLimerick.com are going to Lette’s Treatment Fund.

Question rounds will range from general knowledge to picture rounds, as well as a potluck round, and should certainly satisfy all your quiz-needs. The raffle prize draw will take place right after the quiz, and to top it all off, there’ll be plenty of time for a dance-off at the after party hosted by Dan Sykes [Macronite].

There is no minimum number of people per team, though the maximum is set at eight people. No team? No problem, the quiz organisers will be happy to find you a team to join, and at an entry fee of only €8 per person for the quiz. Or get entry to both the quiz and the after party for €10 a head.

Tickets can be purchased in advance from Dolans, or on the night. Note however that there are a limited number of places available, which will be given out on a first come, first served basis. So make sure to come down on time for what looks to be a great night in aid of a great cause.
