The tour announcement comes following the success of the singer’s second studio album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, which debuted at number 1 in the UK charts. Announcement of the 2026 date for Limerick is already tipped to be one of the gigs of the summer for the Treaty City, and builds on the success of his upcoming gigs in Dublin’s 3Arena.

Lew Capaldi rose to fame in 2019 with the release of his debut single “Someone You Loved” which was followed by his first studio album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, which is historically one of the UK’s best-selling debut singles in history.

Tickets for the Limerick concert will go on general sale this Friday, September 19 at 9:00am via Ticketmaster.ie with prices set from €81.10 to €91.10, and a special presale window opening from Wednesday and another on Thursday. Fans can access presale tickets by signing up through the MCD Productions website, the album & artist presale, or through Mastercard.

Demand for tickets is expected to be high, with Capaldi’s Irish shows continuing to sell out rapidly as excitement builds for the Scottish singer’s first concert in Limerick.
