The inaugural Life Balance Summit, aimed at professionals looking to improve their wellness and develop techniques to combat stress, will take place in Limerick this July 1.

Organised by corporate wellness specialists S4U, the one-day event will see local experts in nutrition, exercise, well-being, and motivation take to the stage at the South Court Hotel. S4U, based in Castletroy, was founded in 2017 by Patrick Barry and Srdan Kovacevic and specialises in providing well-being, empowerment and personal development training and team building programmes for corporates, individuals, and educational bodies.

They saw a need for an event which brings all aspects of wellness and well-being together. “Our objective is to bring a group of like-minded Limerick-based professionals together who will share their knowledge and experiences through wellness, empowerment, education and social engagement, via talks and live workshops during the course of the event,” said a co-founder of the summit Mr. Kovacevic.

The event begins at 10:15 am and runs throughout the day featuring Self-Confidence and Public Speaking coach John McNamara, a local Fitness and businesswoman Emma Cross, the ‘FireFighting Chef’ Paul Knapp, Fitness & Nutrition expert and local businessman Tomasz Ochocki and a life coach Eamonn Smith.

The event will see speakers deliver hour-long presentations full of valuable tips for how to live well, as well as ‘active workshops’ where attendees can try out various disciplines such as Pilates hosted by Niamh Kennedy, Meditation, Barre Fitness and Self-Protection. “Our aim is that each attendee leaves the event feeling empowered, motivated, inspired, more in tune with themselves and having new goals and balances in their lives from having been part of the event,” said a co-founder of the summit Mr. Barry.

Mr. Barry pointed out that the event will be an excellent way to meet and network with like-minded individuals. “The Life Balance Summit provides people with an opportunity to take a day out for themselves – on a Sunday – and to give them a chance to reflect on their lives and how they might be able to improve their wellbeing. Our speakers and workshop facilitators will be available throughout the day to answer any questions people might have,” added Mr. Kovacevic.

Tickets for the event on Sunday 1st July cost €25 and are available to purchase on the door.
The event runs from 10 am to 5 pm.
