The two groups signed a Declaration of Partnership this month in what is a collaboration they feel will make a positive impact on the city.

Limerick Chamber and Rotary Club of Limerick North Munster announce a partnership which is hoped to support Limerick City and its communities.

The two groups signed a Declaration of Partnership this month in what is a collaboration they feel will make a positive impact on the city.

President of Limerick Chamber, Maria Gleeson said, “This week, Limerick Chamber signed a Declaration of Partnership with Rotary Club of Limerick North Munster, marking the beginning of a collaboration we believe will make a real difference for our city.”

The signing of the declaration took place at the Limerick Chamber building on O’Connell Street, where Limerick Chamber CEO, Donnacha Hurley, and Limerick Chamber President, Maria Gleeson, welcomed Rotary Club President Brian Hurley, Incoming President Breda Deedigan, Club Secretary Eamon O Siochrú, and Past Presidents Gerry O’Doherty and Pat Kearney, who is also a Past President of Limerick Chamber.

The Rotary Club announced the partnership, saying, “The declaration reflects a shared commitment to supporting the social, economic and civic wellbeing of our community through collaboration, engagement and service.

“Rotary and Limerick Chamber each play different but complementary roles within Limerick. Through this partnership, we recognise the value of working together where opportunities arise to strengthen community connections, promote positive initiatives, and support the continued development of our city and region.”

The Limerick Chamber President added, “At its heart, this partnership is about one thing: strengthening the Limerick community. Two organisations, one shared purpose, supporting the people, businesses, and causes that make Limerick thrive.

“We’re genuinely excited about what comes next and the initiatives we’ll deliver together for the good of our city. Here’s to working side by side for Limerick.”
