The Limerick Chamber Regional Business Awards 2016 are to take place this Friday, 18 November, with 25 companies shortlisted for awards, the ceremony highlights positive growth in Limerick.
Catherine Duffy, Limerick Chamber President said, “Limerick is today a very different place from what it was five years ago and the progress since the beginning of 2014, in particular, has been tangible. In the three years since, there have been 7,800 jobs announced for Limerick and its environs. That’s a transformational change for a city and county of this size.
Winners of the Limerick Chamber Regional business Awards 2016 will be announced at the Limerick Chamber President’s Dinner this Friday. The President’s Dinner is a night aimed to celebrate and highlight achievements, innovation and excellence in business in the region.
Limerick Chamber Regional business Awards 2016 has grown on last year’s success, adding one more award category, which is the AIB sponsored ‘Best Family Business Award’ and will be chosen by the Limerick Chamber.
The shortlisted companies for the inaugural ‘Best Family Business Award’ are; Flannery’s Bar, Impact Labelling and Fitzgerald’s Woodlands.
In a testimonial to the Limerick Chamber Regional Business Awards, David Jefferies of ActionPoint, who won awards in both 2011 and 2012 said, “The Limerick Chamber Regional Business Awards offers prospective entrants an opportunity to showcase their products and services and I would strongly encourage all businesses to submit an application to the Awards.”

Best CSR 2016: Grassland Agro, Shannon Airport, Regeneron.
Best Large 2016: Regeneron, Dell, Shannon Group.
Best SME 2016: Antaris Consulting, Cashbook Software, medmark.
Best Family Business 2016: Flannery’s Bar, Impact Labelling, Fitzgerald’s Woodlands.
Best Retail & Hospitality 2016: Tuscany Bistro, Bunratty Retail Emporium, Tiger Retail Store.
Best Services 2016: Anataris consulting, Ripplecom, Home Instead.
Best Sports, Arts, Culture 2016: Lough Gur Development Centre, University concert Hall, Limerick Racecourse.
Best Community 2016: Tait community Enterprise Centre, Clionas Foundation, Focus Ireland.
