“The IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Competition recognizes the outstanding accomplishments by festivals and events around the world.”

“Striving for the highest degree of excellence in festival and event promotions in every budget level and every corner of the globe, this competition has not only raised the standards and quality of the festivals and events industry to new levels, but also shows how event producers can use innovation and creativity to achieve a higher level of success.”

Along with Cuckoo Events in Dublin, Limerick Fringe was the only other Irish winner at the international award ceremony.

“We’re delighted that Limerick Fringe was recognised in its inaugural year”, said Simon Thompson, Limerick Fringe Chair.

“We worked hard to create a diverse and entertaining event while keeping a professional look to the brand of Limerick Fringe. Communication is key to promote any festival and in our first year with a limited budget, it was our intention to use our skills and resources to design a functional yet enticing form of message.  We had a successful festival however it is fantastic to get industry recognition too it means we must be doing something right.”

Applications for the 2018 Limerick Fringe are open until October 15th at www.limerickfringe.com/take-part/
