Limerick GAA are calling on supporters to flood social media with their homes and businesses in green and white ahead of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final for its #UpLimerick campaign

Limerick GAA is calling on the public to get Behind The Limerick Senior Hurling Team with #UpLimerick on social media with tickets for the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final up for grabs.

The GAA are inviting supporters to post on their social media with images of their homes and business premises coloured up in Green and White, in the build-up to the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final on Sunday, July 19.

Chairperson of Limerick GAA Seamus McNamara outlined, “We are running two competitions, one for the most creatively bedecked home in Green and White and the other for the most creatively bedecked business in Green and White.

“The competition is for both Limerick City and County homes and businesses (but not confined to within Limerick), and we are really encouraging our great supporters to rally behind this team of whom we are all so proud, by displaying our colours.”

Participants are asked to post their images online with the hashtag #UpLimerick.

Former Limerick Hurling Captain Declan Hannon will be the judge of the competition, and the winners of each competition will receive 2 highly sought-after tickets from Limerick GAA for the All-Ireland Hurling Final

The last post for entries is not later than 12 noon on Thursday, July 16.

Limerick travel to Croke Park on Sunday, July 19, where they face Galway in the 2026 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final, with a throw-in at 3:30 pm.
