Limerick Gaming Anime convention Brocon is set to return to the University of Limerick PESS building from 8-10 July for its seventh annual event and will provide entertainment for all the family.

Brocon is an event for all ages where the worlds of anime and gaming meet. From anime enthusiasts, arts and crafts workshops as well as gaming rooms for both computer consoles and tabletop board games, Brocon appeals to individuals and families that are looking for something fun to do this July.

Kicking off on the Friday evening with the annual Pub Quiz, this allows attendees a chance to meet and interact with other members of the gaming and anime community from Limerick and beyond.

As part of the Brocon convention, the organisers hold a charity auction which aims to raise fund for Pieta House. “A huge part of our convention is our charity auction which takes place on the Saturday evening of our event in the UL Sports Bar. Our chosen charity is Pieta House, and over the past 7 years we have raised over €10,000 and we do not want to stop there.
