Limerick Gospel Choir have the honour of being the special guests to Red Hurley when he takes to the stage at the Lime Tree theatre on Friday June 12th at 8pm and promises to be a great nights entertainment. Red has been in the music business for over 40 years and once enjoyed a reputation as Ireland’s King of Pop . In recent years he has enjoyed success in Ireland and the United Stated with his band.  He is considered one of the finest interpreters of popular song with a vocal ability which is hard to match.  In 2010, Red celebrated his time in show business with a tour of Ireland, which included the sold out show at Dublin’s Bord Gais Theatre where Red was joined by US singer Rita Coolidge. The audience saw just how successful Hurley’s return to the top is with fans of all ages packing the venue and giving the star multiple standing ovations.
