Limerick Halloween Events taking over the county

Limerick Halloween Events are taking over for the next few weeks to terrify the people of Limerick as they get ready for the festivities. There are a number of various events across the city for everyone to enjoy!

First event from the Limerick Halloween Events, what remains of the staff and pupils of the Old Convent invite the people of Limerick to The Asylum for a scarefest unlike anything you have experienced before in their newest production for 2016. The shows will run every half an hour from 7pm to 10pm nightly from Friday, October 14 until Halloween night on October 31. Tickets will be €15 and student tickets will be €12.

The second event that has got everyone excited is The Scare Factory which will be happening in King John’s Castle making it the biggest scare factory yet. The people of Limerick have been told to beware of evil clowns, mutated creatures, and zombies that will come alive with hate and anger. The Scare Factory will be running from Thursday, October 20 until Monday, October 31. Tickets are being sold at €15 per ticket and student tickets are €13.

Something for the family to enjoy is the Happy Halloween Experience 2016 at the Jetland Shopping Centre on the Ennis Road. Children can visit The Witches House and everyone is encouraged to dress up. Local Limerick Company Magic Hammer Events Ltd., who also stage the award-winning Santa Experience and the Easter Bunny House, are behind the interactive Halloween experience which is hauntingly good fun for all the family. The Happy Halloween experience will be running from Friday, October 21 until Monday, October 31. Tickets for children are €5 and adult admission is free.

For even more family fun, people of Limerick are invited to the Curraghchase Pumpkin Festival at the Curraghchase Garden Centre, Kilcornan. There will be pumpkin carving, story telling, and face painting and everyone is invited to dress up in their favourite costume. Admission is free but booking is required. The pumpkin will be open from Thursday, October 21 until Monday, October 31 with four slots each day; 10-12pm, 12-2pm, 2-4pm, and 4-6pm.

One of the most haunted experiences will be the Halloween Spooktacular 2016. The Curraghchase Halloween Spooktacular will take the people of Limerick through the old historic forest and the infamous white lady trail and witness first hand who or what haunts the woods at night. The tickets will cost €12 per person or €40 for a group of four, tickets will cover entry to Curraghchase forest park, guide through the white lady trail and BBQ afterward at Curraghchase caravan park to enjoy the Halloween atmosphere.
