A Limerick Lego show in aid of the Red Cross Ukraine Appeal will take place at the Strand Hotel on Sunday, May 22.
There will be a range of impressive Lego-themed displays with themes such as Lego City, Star Wars, Ninjago and Technic to name just a few.
Lots of amazing prizes will be up for grabs in an assortment of competitions such as ‘Guess Who’, a treasure hunt based on the models on display as well as a speed-build competition where competitors will battle it out to be the fastest Lego builder in their age category.
For the Limerick show, a Dolores O’Riordan Lego mosaic will be on show, alongside a Katie Taylor Lego piece to pay a tribute to her recent win.
A Duplo and colouring area will entertain younger children, and a sensory/chill-out area will also be available.
The goal for the show is to raise €5,000 for Ukraine, which seems to be possible as tickets are selling out fast! All running costs will be covered by the show organisers so the full amount raised through ticket sales will be given directly to the appeal.
Families and Lego lovers alike should avail of this opportunity to see some incredible Lego art, while also enjoying an action-packed day for an excellent cause.
There are four ticket tiers based on age groups, with an overall family ticket for two adults and two children costing €30.
