The results for heat 2 of the IPPA National Photographer of the Year awards were just released and Limerick photographer Dermot Culhane is delighted to have received more awards for his wedding photography, with just two heats in and two to go he has already won multiple awards. The final will be held early next year in Dublin.

For the first time, Dermot also entered the press & photojournalism category and was thrilled to get the news that he received two awards for the two images he shot of the SPAR panto Cinderella playing at the University Concert Hall, Limerick. The winning photos are of actors Richard Lynch and Myles Breen who play the dastardly Ugly Sisters in the production.
