Discussed in the latest episode of the I Love Limerick’s Podcast show are all the events that occurred during Limerick Pride last week, such as the Official Launch of Pride in McGettigan’s pub on Friday July 5, the Mr and Ms Gay Limerick competition in Cobblestone Joes on Sunday, July 7 and the ‘Print with Pride’ event that took place at Limerick Printmakers Studio & Gallery in Johns Square on Tuesday, July 9.

Also discussed in the podcast are other news stories during Limerick Pride, such as the ‘T’was the night before Pride’ event, which was a free entry traditional pre-pride party with guest DJ’s and camp classics at Mickey Martins pub on Friday, July 12.

Finally, Conor and Kiera discuss the main event of the week – the Limerick Pride Parade, which occurred on Saturday, July 13 and made its way at 2.30 pm sharp up O’Connell Street, across Mallow Street to Henry Street, past Arthurs Quay Park and ended at the Hunt Museum. At the museum, people had a chance to enjoy the family fun event Pridefest, that included a free bouncing castle for kids, cone van, cafe and bar on site. Saturday finally ended with the Climax party at Dolans Warehouse that included performances from Limerick singer Michelle Grimes and famous RuPaul drag queen JuJuBee.
