Discussed in the opening episode of I Love Limerick’s Podcast show, were the recent events that took place in Limerick last week, such as recent the Muay Thai Boxing Championship that took place in the Strand Hotel on August 4. They talked with special guest Kalina Anderson, member of the Mauy Thai boxing and fighter herself, about the sport and competition.

Also spoke about was the homecoming of Love Island winner Greg O’Shea and the psychology behind Love Island, in particular, the manic return he had at Shannon Airport, where there were a flood of young fans waiting to greet him.

Also discussed was the CurraghChase 10km walk or run, which takes place on August 11 and we encourage everybody to get involved. Last but not least, also discussed was the up and coming Sci-Fi series, Foundation, written by Isaac Asimov.
