Limerick Pride 2012

Published

on

An array of colourful characters marched for the annual Limerick Pride 2012 Parade from City Hall, up O Connell Street and then gathered at The Hunt Museum for a street party hosted by former Alternative Miss Limerick, singer and comedienne Celine. Celine had the crowd in tears of laughter and many well-known community performers took to the stage to show their stuff. Richard Lynch had the honour of being the Grand Marshall for this years festivities and it was a wonderful experience to lead the parade with our newly crowned Mr. & Ms. Gay Limerick 2012 – Colin Carmody & Kate Stewart. Mayor Gerry McLoughlin and TD Jan O Sullivan joined wholeheartedly in the celebrations and were loved by all. To see a video of entitled ‘A Decade of Limerick Pride’ visit ILoveLimerick.com now. So, that in 20 years time people can look back and remember the events that were making the headlines.
