Limerick Pride Parade 2013 

The annual Limerick LGBTQ Pride festival for 2013 highlighted the Marriage Equality campaign this year and urged LGBTQ people, their families, friends and supporters to wear pink to the Limerick Pride Parade which gathered at City Hall at 1pm on September 7. Limerick got #PINKPARADE trending on twitter and created headlines as we united to send a clear message of support for the freedom to love to our elected public representatives as they return to the Dail after the Summer break. With reports of an increase of homophobia in Russia, the global LGBTQ Pride movement needs to take a stand and say with a clear voice that there is no place for hate worldwide.
