Limerick Soprano Sarah Dolan Homecoming Christmas Concert

Limerick Soprano Sarah Dolan returns to perform at St. Mary’s Cathedral on Saturday 10 December.
Soprano, Sarah Dolan will be returning to Limerick from the USA to perform this Special “Home for Christmas” Concert in the unique setting of St Mary’s Cathedral. Tickets for the “Home for Christmas” concert are available to purchase online for €20 at the University Concert Hall website and can also be bought through the Dolans pub website.
This concert will feature Classical and Christmas favourites such as ‘O Holy Night’, ‘O mio Babbino Caro’ and ‘Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas’. Sarah will also be joined by pianist, Colette Davis, Seoda Chamber Choir and the County Limerick Youth Choir conducted by Máire Keary-Scanlon.
Sarah began her formal vocal studies at the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama, Ireland, where she received an honours degree in Vocal Performance. Sarah then went on to study at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM) after she was a recipient of the Thomas Moore Vocal Bursary and the prestigious James H. Schwabacher Jr. Scholarship.
After touring in various countries she returned in 2014 to her native city of Limerick to perform. Sarah was invited to join the Defence Forces Ireland as a soloist at the Proms in the Park for over 4,000 attendees in the Peoples Park as part of the City of Culture program.
Sarah has performed in recital at the The Boyle Arts Festival, The Kate O’Brien Literary Festival, Goethe Festival, Castleton Festival, Thomas Moore Festival, Schlewig Holstein Musik Festival, Festival junger Künstler, Bayreuth and with Music Northwest in Seattle.
