Limerick Strand Hotel is celebrating another hugely successful festive season, where they hosted more than 3,000 people with Christmas events

The Limerick Strand Hotel has wrapped up yet another incredibly successful festive season, which saw more than 3,000 guests attend Christmas Party nights throughout December.

The Christmas parties were run in conjunction with Hiya events who brought the energy and created a highlight of the Strand Hotel Christmas calendar.

Limerick Strand Hotel Manager, Stephen O’Connor, said, “ We just finished our famous Christmas Party nights last weekend. We had over 3,000 people at our Christmas party nights this year. We run them in conjunction with Hiya events; they’re so much fun. We love doing them every year, and we love that there are so many repeat customers every year. We had a really good time!”

The Christmas parties do not mark the end of the busy period for the Strand Hotel as attention now turns to Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, promising a lively time for the city centre hotel.

Mr O’Connor told I Love Limerick, “ We’ve got our famous buffet on Christmas Eve and five course sumptuous plated dinner on Christmas Day. Our hotel will be full of people that we are so looking forward to welcoming.”

Festive dining is also a major feature this season, speaking about the culinary offering, the Limerick Strand Hotel manager said, “ We’ve got our Turkey and ham, and we’ve got some festive seasonal dishes that are prepared by our head chef Paddy Anslow and his team in the kitchen. We love using local produce as well, so that’s a big feature of our Christmas menus. We’ve got our festive afternoon tea, which is themed. It’s got all your favourite Christmas treats!”

As well as hosting guests for stays and for meals, the Limerick Strand Hotel also has Gift vouchers from €25 which remain available and can be used across the hotel for dining, leisure centre access, or overnight stays, making it the perfect gift for Christmas.

Stephen and the team wished everyone a merry Christmas, saying, “We would just like to wish everybody a really, really happy Christmas from all at Team Strand, and we’re looking forward to welcoming everybody over the next few weeks to The Strand Hotel. So Happy Christmas everyone!”
