The fundraising committee at The Limerick Strand Hotel has organised a fundraising table quiz event to help raise much needed funds for The Irish Cancer Society.

The Irish Cancer Society is a community of patients, survivors, volunteers, supporters, health and social care professionals and researchers. Together they are transforming the experiences and outcomes of people affected by cancer through their advocacy, support services and research.

On Thursday, May 30th from 7pm the newly refurbished Shannon Suite will play host to what is set to be a sell-out event.  James Sexton, HIYA Events has kindly offered to play Quiz Master, ensuring the evening will be fun and entertaining for all.

Tickets can be purchased at the door on the night with tables x 4 at €10 per person with delicious finger food included and asking quiz teams to book in advance with members’ names before May 24th by emailing [email protected] There’s also a very special raffle on the night for some lovely prizes including a signed Limerick Hurling Jersey and an overnight stay at the magnificent 5* Powerscourt Hotel Resort & Spa, Co. Wicklow.  

The winning team will receive a complimentary voucher for dinner for two per player for the award winning River Bar & Restaurant at The Limerick Strand. All proceeds will go to The Irish Cancer Society.
